Welcome to Hawthorne Village

Hawthorne Village is a OWNER OCCUPIED ONLY, 55+ Garden-style Community, which means the owner of the home must be at least 55 years of age. No children under the age of 18 may reside as well.  NO RENTING OR LEASING IS ALLOWED (Declaration Documents). We are a Condominium Association Not a HOA

All 52 homes are one level and contain 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with either a single car or double car garage. There are four different models from which Hawthorne was developed, but all homes range from 1,700 to 2,000 sq feet (depending on size of garage). 

Besides no renting or leasing allowed, we are a pet-friendly community and allow up to two animals (dogs or cats) up to 50 lbs each with breed restrictions. We also have restrictions on paint colors and renovations, no commerical vehicles/boats/trailers/RVs etc are allowed.  

Residents are responsible for placing their Blue garabage bags and clear recycling bags (approved by City of Plantations).
